How Y'all Are???

Hello from the disappearing coast of south Louisiana.
!st, the moniker. Some associate it with negativity, aka. "don't be that guy." I picked it up about 10 years ago when I saw a guy on the beach, wearing a Hawaiin shirt, running the snoball stand and chair vendor service. This was his retirement past time and I told my wife, 'I want to be THAT guy." It stuck.
We have been camping on and off for 20 years or so, 1st tents until the backs wouldn't take it, then a pop up.
The kids grew up as they tend to do, the pop up sat and eventually was sold. Post Katrina, the wife and I adjusted our lifestyle to a more "live for the moment" style. Vegas, Hawaii, Ireland...got that out of our system and decided to settle back down.
We bought a 2012 KZ Spree Escape 170 and set to camping as often as possible. Loved the little guy, except that navigating over each other in the east/west bed got annoying. Additionally, from time to time, one of the adult kids would drive in for a visit and the table bed was annoying.
To shorten this, after much research and some looking, I landed on the Micro Lite 23lb. The floorplan is well enough laid out that I don't miss a slide one bit. Actually, it will be one less thing to set up or break, and I will probably have less drafts and critters.
I hope to be able to socialize and share fun times on here and never have to look for help with a problem.

Thanks. All of my family is from the Leesville/Oakdale/Many/Glenmora area. I don't have to drive far to find my roots. The lovely bride is a Grimes by birth.....we had to go a little farther to find hers.

Soggy South

Hello from Dallas, GEORGIA, not Texas. We are in for another round of rain starting tonight. Our rainfall is 16' above what we had last year at 67", now at 87" with more on the way. No doubt its what you are getting right now. Our RV's, yes rv's are both up at our place in north Georgia, Talking Rock Creek RV Resort. One is under a 30' X 40' Awning, the other is a 5'er and has an ADCO Cover on it. Love to go up, but not with so much rain, not a whole lot to do: Come by and see us sometime, both lots have full hookups and are deeded:
