Hello all!

Wife and I are looking to looking to buy a toy hauler and found a used Forest river close to us. Looking for advice of current owners on the brand and general camper experience.

I grew up camping in tents, popups and your basic bumper pull camper. Wife and I love the outdoors. Motorcycles, atv's and camping. Great combo!

Had a toy hauler. Liked it plenty. Only advice I can think of is: a shallow ramp angle (good for loading) means a lower floor. The lower floor means less ground clearance (bad) if/when there's a dip in the road. Higher clearance (good) means a steeper ramp angle (bad for loading) because you can easily "high center" your bikes or 4 wheelers (or whatever you plan on putting in the back). Essentially, it's a trade off. Some like the high chassis (steep ramp and high centering), others like the low chassis (scrape).

What type of FR toyhauler are you looking at? What do you plan to haul in the toyhauler?

We have a Wolf Pack TH (5th wheel), with the stepdown garage (lower floor), but really haven't dragged the rear end...that much. Our unit is self-contained (generator, etc,) because we do a lot of dry camping and hunting throughout the year. We have had great times and luck with our 5er.

Looking at a used 2011 Forest River Wildwood Sport 32 SRV. I have a F650 BMW dualsport motorcycle and a outlander 800 unlimited Max ATV. Tow vehicle is a F350 crew cab dually.
