Howdy

I'm sorta the 'new kid' on the block. My first posting, so I do not know what I'm doing. Got a new Palamino Columbus 5th wheel a few months ago and really like. Have spent about 40 days in it this year. Pull it with a 2012 F-250 diesel, SRW. Does real good. Have air bags on the tow. Pulled it in Colorado and on flat land, plenty of power and stopping. Wish the trailer had a screen door, but looking on getting one. If anyone has questions about this rig, I will be happy to respond.

Welcome to the site! Some members have created a screen door for their units. Might get some ideas while skipping through the mod threads. 40 days in a new unit in just a few months is oretty impressive.

Happy camping!

it is here!! There are quite a few threads on the Columbus line.... especially the 320RS. Why are you looking for a screen door? I tried a magic mesh and it didn't work well with the unit..... but after getting used to it I love the door!!! There is not much that I would change on the unit..... love it!

You know how Texans like to generate a lot of hot air and I think having a screen door will allow more air circulation and keep the inside cooler and those big Texas bugs out. We did opt to have a fantastic fan installed in the kitchen to help draft some air through the small crank-out window in the door. I agree, there is very little about the 320 RS that we would change.
