So far it's been great fun accumulating everything we think we would need upon taking delivery next week. It's getting really exciting!

Welcome and congrats on the new trailer! It is an exciting time but I can tell you from my experiences once you think that you have accumulated everything you need then all of a sudden you find more things that are a great help or a "needed" item. It's never ending for me as I'm sure it is with many others! Just remember, don't sweat the small stuff and to no matter what have fun!

Welcome to the forum and camping. Rounding everything up is fun and like others have said, it may take several trips before nothing is left back at home or still on the want list.

Congrats from SE GA (um, we are actually in NW AR right now!)! Anyway, do like a bunch of us did. Camp in your back yard or driveway one night. If you find you forgot something, you just have to walk into the house!

Thanks Joe. We plan on the driveway campsite idea, seem the best way to get a dry run in Before heading to the field. :-)

Took delivery today! Spent a bit more time at the dealer than I wanted, but a few things needed modification before they would fit the trailer onto the ball.

Spend the rest of the afternoon packing everything we bought, I think one more trip to the store and we are good to go for the first trip. You really do need to be creative on what you pack and how you store it, but it's fun none-the-less.

Tomorrows activities are mounting the TP holder they didn't do at the dealer, hooking up the Wii, and finish packing.

I'll get some pictures up on Thursday.

Hope your trip went well, I see your tow vehicle has a similar size wheel base as mine, how did your trailer tow?

Towing was fine, hardly knew it was there until I looked at the MPG average.
