Howdy!

New member here and sure glad I found this site. Lots of great info and really helpful folks. We have ordered a Wildwood 32SRV toy hauler and should be getting it in a few weeks. This is our first RV so I really appreciate all the great advice here.

We picked up our 32SRV on Friday. Spent 4 hours on the PDI and were very thorough, thanks to all the great advice we got from FRF. The dealer was very patient and covered everything very well. We only found a couple minor problems which they fixed right there. We told them that we wanted to spend the night since it was a 300 mile drive for us and they recommended we stay at Juniper Point on Lake Texoma. It was about a 15 mile drive and my first time pulling a 5th wheel. I was pleased how well it pulled and it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. That was until we entered Juniper Point. We lucked out and got a spot right on the lake but it was a narrow road with several very tight turns. I took it really slow and thought for sure I would have to use the slider but the trailer never got closer than about a foot from the cab. I doubt there will be too many times I will need the slider but it is nice to know I have it just in case. We found our spot and it didn't look too bad for backing in except there were several trees with branches sticking out that I needed to dodge. My wife was doing her best to watch all the potential hazards but there were a lot. Luckily there were several nice neighbors who quickly came over and helped us get it backed in with no problems. Really nice folks who quickly became friends and were giving us all kinds of tips and admiring our new toyhauler. We made it home safely yesterday and really enjoyed our first night camping with one exception. The mattress has got to go!

Welcome! Try a mattress topper, they make a world of difference. I added a 3" memory foam topper. Love it.
