Howdy from Illinois

Hi All,

I'm a n00b here and to RV's. I've camped most of my life in the old school method of camping, that is whatever I could carry on my motorcycle was what I went with. Now that my better half has an urge to travel/camp, we decided to purchase a small RV and tour the States. We settled on the Wolf Pup FQ16 as it seems to fit what we wanted to do.

We did one maiden voyage so far (600 mile round trip) to a friends house, no water hookup as we just wanted to see how we got along with the TT. Well we all got along fine and it's time to get serious!

I've been stalking the forum for 3 months and I'm very impressed with the responses and knowledge base you folks have. I'm glad to be here and thankful to find such a great group of people to share with!

Steve

Reverse_snowbird - No specific plans yet, I just want to head west at some point where humidity is lower. It looks like our first "real" trip will be mid-July to Elkhart, WI. My wife's friend has an RV and they invited us as guests to their Good Sam "Jumbo" campout at the Walworth Fair Grounds.

It's only 75 miles from us but I will give me an opportunity to use all the TT amenities. I'll also get to try out some of the safety add-ons I've been installing such as rear observation camera, TPMS etc.

Should be fun!
