Howdy from Northern Michigan

howdy you'se all,
we are the proud new owners of a 2018.5 Geo Pro 19FBS pulled by a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. It has been a very costly, but fun month!

We picked it up on Monday and so far, we are very happy with our choice. we have spent the week getting familiar with it in the driveway.

it has the solar prep and i have been trying to get technical information or a wiring diagram to help me install the solar panel. no luck, yet.

happy trails to all

Welcome from Southern Illinois. Take a breath on the solar plan and keep reading here as to your reasons to have it and the correct solution.
I think that buying solar later vs now may save you some cash. Read about it here, determine who has the whiskers that speak to your situation plus consider planned usage and circumstances...

Enjoy your new rig and enjoy...

As mentioned, read up solar installs here first. Use the search option to get you to the threads that deal with solar installs and you will find out more info than you can digest in one sitting.

You can also go to the top of the page, click on forums and then scroll down to the Tech section and you'll find electrical and solar info.

Yes, we went out last weekend (T F S). Granddaughters had softball games, which is a great excuse/reason to go camping. Trailer did everything as hoped. it was real tight Saturday night with four of us in a 19 foot TT. The air mattress for grandson was as wide as the isle, but doable. We had great weather and the smores were awesome!

How about you Mch5jdm?

We’re heading over to TC tomorrow for a few days. Great little private spot that is close to some great places. Glad you had a great time!
