Howdy from SE Arizona!

Hi All,

Hailing from Cochise County, AZ! Not new to camping (we've been doing the cabin thing for what feels like forever . I'm happy to say that on June 9, 2012, I take possession of a brand new Flagstaff SC12 aframe camper and I can't wait...I have waited so many years to do this!

My tow vehicle is a 2012 Nissan Frontier. Can't wait to start our new camping adventures.

Hi Debbie,
Wow, I love Cochise County, have spent a lot of time there in the past few winters, I live in northern Ohio and winter in southern AZ/CA, there is soo much history there from Tomestone to Bisbee to the Chochise stronghold to the Chrircahua mts and Nat monument, what a great place to visit...don't tell anyone!..love the open spaces! one of my favorite places in the USA to camp is Sunny Flats BLM near Portal, just beautiful!
I was at the plant in northern Indianna last summer where they assemble the Rockwood/Flagstaff Mini Lite like mine, they also asemble the Rockwood and I would guess the Flagstaff a-frame.. a very nice plant tour, hope you have as much fun in your Flagstaff as I have had in my Rockwood!
Happy Trails!!!!

Hi Steve,

Thanks, it is beautiful here. I love it. Great temps, not too much to complain about down here. We just got back from Holbrook and went to see the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert and Meteor Crater. It's amazing how varied the terrain and climates are here in AZ.

Did you have an A Frame? I think it'd be cool to see how they're made. The closest I came was watching "How it's made" on tv.

Happy trails!

Hello again,
No, I have never owned an A-frame, but have looked at them, as you know, I travel for long periods in the winter, although, they are making them with bathrooms and everything you need to live in comfort. Let me know how much it affects your fuel usage..I can tell you a trailer will use much more! I love Arizona, have friends in all areas of the state, what part of Cochise Co do you live? I have friends in Bisbee/Elfraida/McNeil, you do have great all year weather there!

Hi Steve,

I really dont think fuel will be much of an issue. Ill keep you posted on that though....I used to tow a jayco pop up with my jeep grand Cherokee - (6cyl) and didn't really feel it too much. I chose an a frame for ease of use, weight and low towing profile. I'm not a lover of driving over mtn passes and really didn't want the bulk of a tt behind me going over hill and dale

I live in palominas which is between Sierra vista and Bisbee. What kind of work do you do that allows you to travel so much?

Cheers!
