Howdy from the Texas Hill Country!

Hi ya'll,

My wife and I just bought our 1st TT today, a V-Cross Vibe 826VFK. I retired from the Navy a couple of years ago and we have wanted to do some RV traveling since then. I am now doing BBQ cook-offs and we FINALLY have our own place! Look forward to learning from all ya'll (plural), and making sure we make this last awhile and enjoy our selves!

Cool. Welcome guys from the East side (just north of Houston). I retired from the AF in San Antonio and we're headed back this weekend to see the chitlins and grandchitlins. Y'all have fun in your new digs and keep us posted!

Welcome from far north Houston

Congratulations on your new TT. We are newbies as well; bought our V-Lite in February at the RV show, but haven't had as much time to use it as we'd like. That will change at the end of the summer when we will be in full retirement. Do be sure to follow FROG- Texas on the forum and on Facebook. Lori from SA is planning an October rally in Kerrville and I'm in the early stages of planning a late March 2014 rally in LaMarque/Galveston County. We are very excited about attending the FROG International Rally in Goshen in August! Lots to see and do and many nice people to meet. Have fun.

Welcome from West Texas. We camp in the hill country at least twice a year. Can't beat Texas BBQ (or TexMex).

Tcoop48, I know Bridgeport well. My grandparents lived there along with a few other relatives. My Dad grew up in Alvord and had an uncle in Azle and an aunt in Briar.
