Howdy all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am an ex-police sergeant now working as a Chiropractic Assistant. My DW, who has worked as a receiving supervisor for the past 33 years, and I will both be retiring here in the next 2 years, and will be hitting the road full-time in a 5er and a GMC dually. We have been looking at the Heartland Big Country but just this past weekend saw, and sat in, a new Columbus 320 RS at our local Heartland dealer. Looks like the Columbus is going to win (once we change out the theater seats!). We really like it! We've starting selling off all of our "treasures" so we'll be ready to hit the road soon (maybe even sooner than planned). Looking at buying the 5er a year before we do decide to full-time, just to get used to it and to work out the bugs. Can't wait! We are both excited to get going! Arizona, New Mexico, Florida - sunshine, here we come! Going to have to beef up the bicycle rack though to be able to bring my Harley along!
