I want one!

My husband and I have been trying to figure out what kind of RV we want for when we (he) retire(s). He wants to ride his bicycle across the country and I want to be his support car. I'm a freelance court reporter/editor and can work wherever there is a wireless signal (at least for enough time to download and upload files!). Both of us are great fans of national parks, diners, and the road less traveled.

We've been all over the map, looking at fifth wheels, travel trailers, Class B, Class B+, and Class C. (Mom has a Class A and that seems a bit big for me, but we've been open to looking)

We went to the NCRVDA fall show in Raleigh yesterday after having narrowed the field substantially - to a B or C - and found the Solera M. We were blown away! This is the first smaller vehicle that we've seen with a Murphy bed and a lot of storage space.

I've fallen in love with the product and really want to go ahead and buy now... even though retirement is officially over five years from now. I see it for many uses for our pre-retirement (he does triathlons, I have a very flexible business and can work from anywhere).

I'm looking forward to learning from the experienced RV'ers on the site.

Any tips, tricks, and helpful hints will be greatly appreciated!

Tori

Hi Tori and welcome to the forums! An RV show is a great way to see various models and do some comparison at the same time.
