I want to thank you folks
I have yet to pull my Grey Wolf 26DBH out of the driveway, but in about 3 days, y'all have definitely made some major impacts on me, the information that I NEEDED but didn't know that I needed, and on what I need to make this thing work.
Hats Off.
:trin k39:
They're on me if you get to Arkansas and stop by.
I won't list all the help you've given, but I felt SO stupid and you guys make me feel normal (not an easy trick!!!)......
On the flip side, you have so far cost me way over $600.00, so please fax me some dollars at your first opportunity.
I do appreciate it. Don't know where this should go, but felt the need to say thanks.

Tell me about it! I spent like 250 on a power surge thingy I didn't know I needed and recently about 50 on a water pressure controller I didn't know I needed, and 1100 on a total reseal since I developed into a leak fanatic here. Good thing the forum is free though! LOL.
Have fun on the road...be safe!

But just think of all the fun you and your family are going to have! Rent the mover "RV" with Robin Williams. That's a good way to start your trip off. BE SAFE

I don't even like y'all anymore. I'm gone.
Wanna know something crazy? The shakedown cruise on this thing is probably gonna be with daughter and 3 grandkids (14, 13, 11)...on my 65th B/D, at Greers Ferry (that half price Senior Pass is good stuff, maynard). Lord only knows what all will break or not work.
Good news is that it's only 38 miles from the house. So if I have to pay a lowboy trailer $12 a mile to haul the trailer home, and a D9 Cat to lift it onto the lowboy, I should come out not spending more than about fourteen point elebben bazillion on that first trip.
Course, I'll then need spare tire covers, jack mats, fourteen locks, six miles of chain broken into 11 pieces, a manual on "How an Alcoholic Best Handles Family Disasters", and Satellite TV Insurance for Blowaways.

Doesnt matter how far from home you go. Just have fun! One of our favorite places to go is only 1 hour drive and 45 miles, but worlds away from home.

And when you trade, nothing on the new unit will be the same as on the old one... so, you'll feel like a duffus all over again!

And it just keeps coming.....
I keep perusing this whole site.......and it just hit me that AAA has an "RV Option". I had the basic membership, and that option isn't even available with the Basic. So for $57 MORE DOLLARS (Visa loves me) I just upgraded to AAA Premier (probably not worth it) but that allowed me to add RV coverage.
Now, I won't have to pay elebben grazillion for the lowboy trailer and 90 ton Fork Lift.

You could have gotten the Good Sam Roadside Assistance for only a little more than your upgrade fee to AAA. Good thing you can get your money back.

and some of us may come back to often and disrupt the collegial nature of things, such as me, for example. AND I've learned some stuff in spite of my years of experiance and making of mistakes, LOL

And dont forget the tires. Many here change the tires as some brands are suspect. Oh, upgrade the axles....so the DW can overload the tt. Upgrade the tv ....it goes on and on...
