I'm Gettin' a Roo!

Hi

Me and the wife just purchased a 2011 Roo 23SS from RV Wholesalers. Hopefully we get to pick it up next week, but it seems there may be some delays unfortunately. We are upgrading (I guess, depends who you ask LOL) form a 2004 Bayside Elite Pop Up so we're not new to camping. We are definitely new to the hybrids and slide outs all that fun stuff.... Can't tell I'm excited can ya? LOL!

If anyone has any pointers, tips or suggestions for the Roo, or dealing with RVW on pick up day I'd love to hear them!

Congratulations! I am due to pick up my Rockwood Ultra Light from RVW next week, so we'll see how it goes!

Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!

there are a few of us 23SS owners here. there are a lot more on RV.net, if you want mod ideas.
make sure you run all the systems and pressurize the water system, during your PDI.
suggest you stay overnight at the campground near RVW and use everything. then, if you can go back if something needs fixing.

not sure what you're towing with, since you didn't mention it. the 23SS has a heavy tongue weight.

there are lots of suggestions and mods in the Expandable/Hybrid section here at FRF.

Thanks everyone! Just to provide an answer the TV I'm using is an 08 chevy 1500 Z71 with tow package. I will be adding an Equalizer hitch also. Based on trailer weight & tongue weight I think I'll be fine.
