Intro

Just bought a 2007 FR Wildcat 32QBBS 2 weeks ago and started full time living in it with a wife and two kids on Saturday. Seemed like a good idea at the time.... We have been initiated into RV living quickly already dealing with leaky slide outs, leaky water line connections, figuring out how many things we can operate at one time without tripping a breaker, and still trying to figure out a furnace that won't ignite. Anyway, I'm glad this forum exists and I have already learned a lot in the two days I've been lurking. Looking forward to learning from all of you.

a slightly used unit
you will get all of the kinks out in short time
as we take them one by one
never had a slide out
but they sure do add a lot of nice room
although the technology seems not perfect
my buddy who has a slide out on a newer rig
and was a machinist supervisor
has a slide out that hangs up
I was thinking about buying his unit a while back
but when we had to give that thing a
big starter push so as to free it
plus his slightly leaking transmission
I walked
the transmission bolts were stripped when new
by the Ford dealer -- overtightened
heli-coil repair done by dealer -- not perfect

anyway
a little time spent in your trailer
and all will be
Home Sweet Home

and you can pull that THING where ever you wish

we get to do a little
mountain time
desert time
beach time

((nice getting out))

a blessed day wished for all
from
Mountainman

Welcome to the site, and hang in there, its like everyone else says, once you get it where you want it, you will be happy. We bought new this year, and we still had a couple mishaps with things. But we are happy to be camping everytime...

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the wonderful world of camping with a camper (as opposed to a tent). There WILL be challenges. Hang in there. Its worth it.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll pull up a chair to the fire and just listen for now.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like quite the adventure - just purchasing a trailer and right into full-timing. I wish you all the best.
