Introducing Ourselves
Hello Y'All.
We are about to embark on this adventure next year. We just bought a pick up and ordered our RV from Palomino. We have never camped or gone in an RV before, but are excited to try new things, meet new folks and hopefully make some lasting friendships. We have tried to educate ourselves and signed up in the RV Forum as well as obtained a Good Sam membership.
We have two grown kids and I am just retiring from my place of employment this coming January. Our first trip will be to Marble Falls in Texas, followed by a long trip this coming summer to Oregon, by way of New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, and returning via Colorado. Any advise would be much appreciated.
Looking forward to this new excitement.

Welcome from Salt Lake City and the Intermountain west. We can help with some travel suggestions between New Mexico and Oregon. Lots to see and places to explore. Some idea of when you plan to leave and expected arrival date would help. Personally I could spend a month (maybe two) on a trip like that. Here are a couple of teasers to whet your whistle

Thanks to all of you.
CanonMan, we are actually heading to South Jordan. Need to catch up with a friend from college days who lives there. Staying at a park in Provo, Lakeside RV, July 10th for 4 nights. Son wants to go back to Park Cities and enjoy the sledding. Other plans open. Suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Sledding in July??
Lakeside is a nice RV park but you can also stay in some really nice public camp grounds in the area as well. Why not send a PM and we can discuss more options.
Attached photo is only about an hour from Provo. Headwaters of the Provo river
