we are from northern British Columbia. After 17 years of owning our Travelaire Rustler 23.5`bunkhouse it was time to get a new trailer with a real bed and no more sleeping on the fold out couch. We purchased a 2012 Rockwood 2702SS.We got our queen size bed and our daughter got a large bunk.
So far so good we bought it and then spent a week in it right off the bat.No major problems as everything worked well.
We towed it home 1600km in two days. The metal strap that holds the gray and black water ABS drains on the exterior had the retaining screw break in transit. That was fixed with a bunjie cord to get me home where I installed a HD screw. Also the rear electric landing gear popped a 20Amp fuse when it came up into the raised position?
I find this trailer a little light duty compared to our old with the 14" tires and the new torsion axle. But time will tell as we are strictly on road users.
Please send me some feedback to how you are liking your Rockwood trailers.
