Joining The Fun

Just wanted to say Hi! to everybody...and thanks in advance for your help in answering some of the questions we'll be asking. We own a 2004 Surveyor 263 which tomorrow will leave our driveway for the first time in three years. We bought the camper prior to a long-planned trip to Cape Breton and Quebec in the summer of 2006 after the lift system on our pop-up died days before departure. We love the camper, but unfortunately because of various complications - mainly aging and ill parents - the camper has since been used only our visiting adult children and their friends, as a convenient in-the-yard hotel. This summer we're determined to hit the road again, but that has required some re-learning of our quick crash course from the previous owner of the Surveyor, in addition to replacing tires and making several repairs. We're looking forward to getting out there again, and to being a part of the Forest River Forum community.

Woo Hoo.....another SV 263 owner.......welcome to the forum.

When I 1st joined the forum last fall, I put an APB out to see if there were any other 263 owners out there, but no reponses......I thought maybe I had the only 1 in existance. There were 2 other 263 owners that joined the forum the 1st part of this year, and now you make 4 of us here. We are on a roll.
