Just bought a 2011 Flagstaff 625D!

Hi!

New here and looking for some information. We're about to pick up a 2011 Flagstaff 625D and looking for some feedback on what people like about the model and things to watch out for.
Also, the dealership is offering a SAL Protection plan as their extended warranty. Is it worth it? Because the trailer is used (one year old), with very light use, there is no warranty. Is SAL Protection worth it, or is there a warranty that might be available from Forest River if we are not the original purchaser?
Looking for any feedback or experience you wonderful people may have!

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new camper!

As far as your question, you will probably have better response posting it in the Flagstaff section. The owners there can better answer any known problems or concerns that would warrant the coverage as well as things to look for. Make sure to post in the correct section, there is a travel trailer/fifth wheel Flagstaff section and a pop up Flagstaff section.

Good luck. I hope it works out well for you.

I appreciate your help, Glenn! I didn't even know there was a Flagstaff section! There are many threads and topics here and I have only begun to scratch the surface. Have found many helpful things already , too!
I'll mosey on over to the Flagstaff threads. Thanks again!

actually, the 625D is a popup and you should post in the Tent Campers, A Frames and Pop Ups section.
the Flagstaff section is for TTs and 5th wheels.
the Flagstaff and Rockwood popups are twins, with different model numbers. you can bet that there's someone here with a 625D or the twin Rockwood model.

welcome to FRF and there are a lot of active popup and A-frame owners in that section, that can help with yours.
any extended 3rd party warranty is a waste of money, in my opinion.
you should be able to buy a 2nd year factory warranty. i think the popup one is only $100.
many dealers don't tell new buyers about it, in order to sell these 3rd party warranties that they get a commission on.
