Just bought a Rockwood 8317RKSS

We have been camping for a number of years from tents to a popup, and to our current trailer Jayco Jayflight 27BH, Well the last camping trip in the rain with the wife and my two kids (11 and 7) proved to me we needed a larger camper. While sitting on my dinette and still able to cook on the stove with the kids going back and forth me having to sit down so they could pass by, etc...etc.. well enough was enough We started looking and we were very impressed with the lineups from Forest River, WE LOVE our Jayco also, but they just didnt have the options we liked in the Rockwood. I am hoping I acutually use my outdoor kitchen cause it sure looks like a nice thing to have and I love cooking outside. Anyhow just wanted to give a big HELLO out to everyone and glad to be part of the Forest River Family.

Welcome! Glad to see someone from the Richmond area on the forum. This is the best site ever for helpful hints. Let us know how you like that outside kitchen.

Yes boy, another Virginian !!! Maybe we can out number those Texans in the near future.......not.

to the forum !!!!

I can't remember who carries the Rockwoods in the Richmond area. I know that VALover and I both got our Surveyors from Cheek & Shockley.

Nice to see a couple of semi-local Virginians. We are picking up our camper on Saturday from Dodd Rv down in the Newport News area.

Thanks for the welcomes
