Just bought my first camper in Norfolk, VA. 2013 Coachmen Apex 288BHS

Hello everyone,

After a long month of looking and reading and making several trips to dealers. Finally purchased it. Almost bought a 2013 Crossroads Aspen Trail Reserve 26BH, but backed out and went with the Apex instead.

Will take delivery on April 6th and setting up at local campground for a few weeks before taking it on a long trip. Norfolk, Va to Denver, CO. Then heading up to Yellowstone and down to Grand Canyon and to finish the trip in San Diego, CA. Will setup there for about 60 days and then into storage for a while.

Its been a real treat reading through all of the posts. Learned alot and took notes. Now the real learning begins since the biggest thing I have ever towed was a 16ft enclosed trailer with 2 ATV's in it with a Trailblazer SS.

Glad to have found this forum.

Wow! Awesome trip! We're seasonal and I love it, but the down side is not going to new places often. Keep us posted on your extensive travels.
