Just bought my first trailer!

I'm so excited, I just bought a 2008 Hybrid Rockwood Roo! I've been busily getting it ready for our first trip out, fixing a few small things, checking and re-checking others. One thing i CANNOT find is the 'kill switch'. So once I connect the battery, everything is just on. Friends who have trailers say there should be one some where but I just cannot find one. Anyone know where I should look?

Most smaller trailers don't have one. But it's something you can easily install.

Congratulations on your ntu roo. It is possible that they may not have put battery disconnect switches on them back then.
Newer ones do come with them but I don't know what year they began doing that.
I have seen two types of battery disconnects. Mine is a red key located under the propane tanks on the tongue. I have also seen others being a push/pull button inside the camper somewhere most likely near a control panel or near the converter.

I owned a 2007 Rockwood Roo.
There was no factory battery disconnect switch, for a 2008. Your friends must have newer trailers.
Unless a previous owner installed one, yours doesn't have one.
Did you ask the previous owner?

Suggest you start posting in the Roo sub-forum, to get help with yours.
It would help us help you, if you posted which model Roo you have, since it's not listed in your profile.

Congratulations on your Roo and Welcome to the forum from just east of Toronto.

I added a Blue Sea Systems m6006 ON-OFF switch to both my 2010 Roo and our current 2011 model year TT. I mount it outside on the side of the battery box. I’d post a picture but I’m camping with a poor internet connection so uploading isn’t working.
