Just joined the Gray side

I am a former PU owner that just moved to the gray side with a HTT. Grew up in a TT but never did any maintanance (that was Dad's Job). So I am new to trailer maintanance life. DH has no clue. Never been in anything but a very basic PU. The HTT is a Roo 23SS just got it 2 weeks ago today. She is my baby. I am the one that goes camping with the kids with DH joining once in awhile.

Kids are:
DS - 21 shows up with girlfriend once in awhile
DD - 11 Loves to camp (thank you to the powers that be )

I am still going thru the books and HTT checking everything out.

I thank the lord everyday for these forums.

Renee

We had also camped with pups and TTs. You'll love the HTT. Lucky you that your youngest loves to camp. I have three daughters - all under 10 - who also like it.

We have a forum just for you if you are not aware of it that can provide a lot of specific information on your Roo. The Shamrock is the same so keep an eye on that one, too.

Alright, another Roo 23SS owner in two days!!

Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!!
and joining the exclusive 23SS Owners Club!

those 233S owners better start looking over their shoulders, 23SS might being returning to #1 status.

be sure to start reading and posting in the Expandable/Hybrid section here at FRF.
lots of 23SS owners and it has been the most modded hybrid floorplan out there.
i can put you in touch with some very helpful long-time 23SS owners in the Tennessee area.

Would love to hear from other 23SS owners! We have been looking at HTT for a few years and this was the one that had a floor plan that we can use for a long time to come.

Welcome from a Packer-Backer

I recently joined the forum and have learned a lot already. Wife and I owned a 23SS for 3+ years after many years in a PU. Gives you the best of both worlds--openess of the PU and comfort of a hardside. We traded up to a Windjammer 2609w this year, but I miss some of the aspects of the Roo, however folding up a wet camper is not one of them. Getting older I guess.

Thanks. We are looking forward to more camping next year after I retire in March. Hope to meet some of the other FR owners who are regular contributors to this forum. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

Darrell & Mary GO PACKERS!!
