Just purchases FR Mini Lite 2104S - new to forum

Hi!
My husband and I just purchased a Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S travel trailer. After signing the contracts and arriving home, I did some searching for reviews on Rockwood and saw a lot of negative comments about quality and major problems with leaks, suspension, burned circuit boards and slide out problems.
I am hoping to hear from this community their thoughts on the quality of their Rockwood trailers.
I really love this trailer's layout and features and am hoping the quality is good enough that I don't regret purchasing it!
Any opinions or comments from people that have one would be great!

Purchased a 2504S this year. Have used it 33 nights since June and thus far have had no issues with anything. I have read the reviews and use that knowledge to protect myself with our unit. If you are aware of the bad experiences of others (and that is one of the positives for "negative" reviews) you can inspect your unit to see if yours might have a similar problem. That doesnt work for all, but 1 example would be the water filter in the trailer that comes with the unit. Lots of stories of them unscrewing and leaking in the trailer. With that knowledge, you can go ahead and locate yours and take steps to prevent the issue, that kind of thing.

As far as my specific experience, we love our trailer and have no regrets with purchasing it. The quality is what we expected, and everything works as expected. No issues with broken parts and pieces or anything like that. All of us tend to be quiet when things are they way they should be, and loud when things are broken, so with that being said, seems about 90% of reviews are generally negative. But those reviews sometimes only reflect a small portion of the owners (but sometimes it is also a large portion of owners, so your concern is warranted). Good luck with your unit

Welcome to the forums! When shopping for TTs, we looked at yours, too, but wanted a tad bigger.

We've had ours out twice and only minor issues which were easily fixed....nothing major and we love all of the upgraded features Forest River puts in their products (something we didn't see in our past TT.)

Good luck to you & your husband on your new TT Randy. We just purchased a 2015 Flagstaff 832IKBS and...am just a bit petrified of having issues with it. We are not bringing ours home from the dealer until March 2016 so we're keeping fingers crossed nothing but good and...hoping this site will educate us as new TT owners.

Congrats! I don't own a rockwood but here is how I would think about it: Rockwood has been building trailers for Mandy years. If they built an inferior or sub par product they would not be able to stay in business. Enjoy your travels!

No complaints on our 2502 mini lite. We had a minor warranty issue, other than that we couldn't be happier.

We have a 2304S which is pretty much the same as your 2104S except for the length. We just completed our third season and the only problem we had was with a slide motor failure a few weeks after we got it. The dealer replaced the motor under warranty. It has not had any problems since. We are well satisfied with the quality of the unit.

Have a 2104S. No problems that are really major. All minor things that I can take care of myself. Take care of it and it will serve you well.

the biggest issue we have had is 3 trips to the dealer for the led awning lights. they are out a 4th time now. we have had other issue but they were fixed and not popped up again. we have had our 2104s for just over a year now. the worst issue we have had is the electric tounge jack stopped working and use it manually till we could get it to the shop, we are happy with the tt and get compliments on it. Just not so happy with the dealer service department.
