Just wanted to say HELLO from Virginia & Introduce Ourselves to all of you!!! :)
We just arrived home from purchasing our retirement home on wheels!!!
We are sooo excited and cannot wait to full time.
We are Karen & Mike and currently live in Virginia. Mike's retirement begins on 2/28 and we will begin full timing when our youngest graduates HS this June!
We purchased our 2012 Coachmen SportsCoach @ LazyDays in Seffner, FL on Feb 13th, and could not be happier!!!
We flew in on the 11th and spent 9 days getting everything right and perfect before we'd leave the premises. Took us two days of challenging driving to get back, we are calling it a "baptism by fire," but we feel great about it because we gained a wealth of experience on the road. The only situation we didn't confront was snow....and THAT is a wonderful thing!!!
Our dreams of traveling this great Country of ours are about to be realized!!
We hope our paths will cross some of yours in our travels!!!
Happy & safe trails to all,
Karen & Mike
We will be towing a Jeep and have our three four legged "babies" with us!!
Below are a few photos.
P.S. Are any of it headed to the NASCAR Races @ Richmond International Raceway in April? We just booked and bought our slot today!!!

Congratulations on both the new Sports Coach and the less-than-a-week-away retirement. Welcome to the forum.
Lots of friendly, helpful folks on here who are more than willing to answer questions and give advise on any RV situation you might encounter. Ask away, and enjoy your new life on the road.

Hello Capt Mike!
THANK YOU so much on both congrats! Funny that you should be the first to respond as Mike is a (retiring) Police Capt and as such is often called Capt Mike! He IS the Captain of my heart too!
You're so right about the "lots of friendly folks on here who are willing to answer questions and give advice on any RV situation we may encounter!" We have been poking around in the forums for many months and learned just that!!! Then when we arrived at LazyDays to actually take possession of our Coach fellow RVers couldn't bend over backwards enough for us, they truly went out of their way to do so!!! It's a wonderful and giving community and we are just delighted to be a part of it all!!!!
We certainly intend to enjoy our new life on the road!!! It's so very exciting!!! We are going to put our top five travel destinations in a hat and choose from there!!! Makes it more exciting!!
Thanks again for all your congrats!!! Have a nice evening!!!!
Karen & Mike

Welcome. That is a great looking rig. I look forward to stories of the kamping kittehs. We have thought about bringing ours but are afraid they will run away.

We are selling our hime within the next couple of weeks and they will need to come with us! They are indoor cats so will not be going out. We will just need to get used to shutting the door. . I'll definitely share with you how they are doing!!! We are bringing them to the races with us in April!!!
