longtime tent camper new to RVing

Greetings from Florida. I've been an avid outdoorsman and tent camper all my life. A recent turn of events led me to purchase an RV and plan on spending the next couple years full time RVing with mainly boondocking. I'm anxious to hit the road and run off the homebuilt 380 watt portable solar that I put together 5-6 yrs ago. I bought a 2013 Wolf Pack 28 ft toyhauler and am finding all the little nuisances that seem to come with used RVs but having fun learning about it and fixing things.

Welcome aboard. Personally, I don't think there's any better way to travel around and see this amazing country of ours. I'm retiring in 2 years, selling off everything and going nomadic for a while. You definitely have to be a DIY'r if you're going to be an RV'r.

If you ever think you miss the tent. Throw a rock or two in your bed. Reminds you of the good ole days.

You can also get up at 2AM in the pouring rain and run across camp to use the facilities.
