Loooking at 2018

Weare Bob & Cheryl from Central Ohio. We are slowly planning to retire in 2018...we are not new to camping, but it has been many years. We purchased a 2012 CVhevy Silverado CC SWD 2WD Diesel 3500 as the first step to retiring.

We are reading books, mags, forums daily, and are slowly honing in on what I believe is a 5th wheel by CC of some type.

We love the front liv rm - 38FL....but this may be too much for "The Hulk" Chevy truck...so we just returned from another RV show and will be looking to see a 34RLSA, a 36CKTS or maybe a 36RE at a factory tour or dealer this summer.

WE have also been working on the wonderful budget...and scaling this down as we move through the years.

So here we are.....lurking and now posting on the Forest River Forum.

See ya soon !!

Welcome aboard!

Forewarned is forearmed. The more you know before hand, the better the decision you will make.

Spend a LOT of time researching threads on "what can I tow"
If you have any questions drop me a PM.

Welcome and best of luck. I'm in west central OH. I can also tell you that I don't think FR makes anything that your 3500 won't handle easily. You rightly nicknamed it the "Hulk" for a reason.
