Question Lots of questions

Just bought my first travel trailer and have so many questions, would love some knowledgeable feedback. 1. Is it common for a battery to be dead after sitting for two weeks. (Pretty sure I didn't leave anything on, triple checked)
2. Looking to purchase a generator. Love the reviews on the Honda eu3000, quiet and runs the A.C. ,but is there anything out there cheaper without to much sacrifice

first, it's always helpful to post year/make/model of RV you have. that way those that own the same model, can be really helpful.

1. if you don't keep the trailer plugged in(you didn't state whether you did or not), then the parasitic power drains can empty a battery in just a few days.
yours may be permanently dead. that's why many of us install a battery disconnect switch.
2. without knowing what trailer you have or what size/brand/model a/c you have, can't say what generator to get.
BUT quiet costs money. if you plan on camping next to others, don't get a cheap generator. no such thing as a cheap AND quiet generator. but the new Champion 3100w inverter generator can be bought for under $900 and will probably run most 15k a/c's and it's nearly as quiet as a Honda.
if you plan on just boondocking or camping at motor races, then a cheaper open-framed generator, like the Champion 3500 can be bought for under $300.

It's an 05' skyline weekender 25ft. I don't keep it plugged in. Thanks for the info. Will look into the disconnect and the champion

since this forum is primarily for Forest River owners and you don't have a Forest River product, you'll have to provide the info on your trailer, since no one here will probably have a Skyline product.

so, brand/model #'s of your a/c will be important along with other things you made need info on.
like what converter do you have, which is important regarding your battery being charged up.

Welcome to the forums.

Does your trailer have a stereo that might have been durned down but on.
Microwave clock?
Gas detector, monoxide detector?

Lots of ghost drains.
