Lurker finally posting

Hi folks,

Been checking this site out for a few weeks now while looking into toy haulers and have found some good info. Finally sold the Coleman popup today so hopefully purchasing real soon.

Not a rich man but I have been checking out the Cherokee Greywolf 25RR.They seem okay and the 15-16k new price looks fine to me. Will only be hauling a couple bikes or a quad or 2. Will also be using a 1/2 ton Silverado for a couple years til I move up to 3/4. Anybody have any good info on the Greywolfs? Also, any good dealers? Best price I have found was $15400 new but almost 6 hours away but I don't mind the drive . I am located an hour west of Indianapolis if anyone can point me in the right direction or recommend something better that isn't super expensive.

Hello, and Welcome. Can't help with your purchase, sorry. I have a Work and Play toy hauler, and love it. Been great so far, and we're starting our 4th year with it.

I recommend you read the current thread running regarding buying a camper before you sign anything.

If you find a dealer closer to you it never hurts to show them the price you were quoted and see if they will match it. Thats what we did and saved us a long trip.

I did too, I did wind up paying a grand more than the same unit ordered from "That online discount place with the long name" but at the time I thought having a "front of the line" advantage at the maintenance counter and 10% discount at the parts counter would be worth it.

I could not have been more wrong. I found out their parts were 30% overpriced and their maintenance department sucked. The ONLY thing I have to thank them for was forcing me to learn a LOT about my RV quickly in self defense.
