lurking for a while

I have been wanting to post and say hello but we have been busy going back and forth to our rv dealer. we purchased a 2109s a couple of months back and had the entry door fall apart before we could use it. So we got it back this Saturday with a new door and frame installed. It seems as the strut at the bottom of the door was pulling the door apart. Result is no more strut on the door bad idea. We have no other issues with this unit it has been flawless except the door. So hello to all.

Welcome to the forum!

The strut on top of our door was also ripping our door apart.

(It seemed beyond the capability of our so called dealer - returned 3 times for the door lock not working due to door twist and frame contact and the piston ripping out of the door and frame)

Tried to fix it several times.
Finally removed it and tossed it before it got too bad.
