Hi! We bought a 2013 Forest River Wildwood almost four months ago and live in it year round. We absolutely love it! It is so spacious! We even have two chihuahuas and a min pin/chihuahua rambunctious mixed four month old puppy. My biggest thing to get used to with living in an rv is learning the tricks and trades to stabilizing and minimizing motion. Other then that I am more so concerned with winter time because we live in it so shoving some antifreeze down some tubes in not going to work. I have heard many suggestions and am thinking about insulating foam board at least two inches think.

First off welcome all of you to the forums.

Two inch will work but some added heat to keep the space warm will be needed.

I would build skirting walls from 1/4 in plywood and 2X2 lumber painted on the outside.
Using construction adhesive glue the foam to the plywood and seal the outside joints with chalking.

Big thing is to keep all the hoses from freezing.

So how do I apply the collection of winterizing materials to the trailer?

The skirting could be free standing on small feet like a privacy screen.
Easy to move out of the way in order to access the underneath if need be but stable enough to stand the wind.

No idea, a guess, nothing, the black piece would be channeled metal and fit over the top like a form fitting top cap.
The bottom sitting on small feet or footing with the top capped and a screw low in the corner holding the ends together.
