Mini Lite Newbie
Hi All,
Joined this forum to begin learning, hopefully, about my 2109s Mini Lite. It's a new, not ever camped in, 2013 Rockwood Mini light. I know absolutely nothing about trailer and the manuals are confusing.
Question ...... is there videos, classes, sites that are recommended to begin?

There are videos. You can find some on YouTube, but I have a better idea. Why don.t you set up in your driveway and post questions as they come up. There is a lot of experience here, They are all willing to help.

Thanks Much
I do have it set up, plugged in and playing around with a few items. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and appreciate those like you who take the time to reply.
I have no clue what's involved owning a trailer like this and just trying to familiarize myself to so much as quickly as I can .......taking it next weekend for a short camping day or 2.
One another point, like to change my posting name to something a bit friendlier ......know how?

We had a 2109S for awhile and that was our first TT from a popup. The PDI was a good place to learn things and read the manuals. The main Forest River on is generic but then you should have the specific manuals for individual items such as hot water heater, a/c, etc.
If you know someone that has a TT, they could probably help you out also.
This forum is a great resource also.

I've got a 2014 2104S right now...sister floor plan to yours, just a different slide configuration. There's a number of us that can answer specific questions first hand if you need it.

Camera ?
One thing I thought would be a good thing is to have a camera on the back of my TT so I can see traffic behind me like a rear view mirror. Does anyone use ???? Suggestions on what type to get?

Welcome to the forum. We purchased a wireless camera from Tadibrothers. Installed it on the back of the trailer, works just like a rear view mirror. Being that the distance from the tow vehicle to the rear of the trailer isn't a significant distance, wireless is fine. And their cameras don't use the same frequency as the blue tooth, apparently that can cause bad interference. We chose wireless for the simple reason that we didn't want to have an additional cable to connect/disconnect when connecting/disconnecting the trailer. They offer different configurations, different size monitors, etc. My only suggestion would be to buy a monitor that is bigger than you think you need, lol. We went with 9". We thought that was way over kill, but when viewing the image driving down the road, a larger image is much easier to see when you are only able to glance at it. I don't like the idea of driving 60mph, towing a trailer, and taking my eyes off the road for an extended period to make sure I see what is in the camera behind me.

Most important tip I can give you is to have the roof and all caulking checked twice a year. Spring and Fall.

Caulking
Dicor Lap Sealant (self leveling) on the roof. Never ever silicone.

City Water Pressure
Hmmm, Everything I've read says not to go over 40psi when hooking the water up. In the kit that came with my tt there are 4 water regulators. Testing with a gauge 1 is at 50psi, 3 are almost 60psi. Is there a regulator that limits water psi to 40?

I have .....hopefully
Went over entire roof. Used in a few edges though I've not see anything that may become a problem. The previous owner did say he maintained it and it was very clean when I looked at it.
Any pointers at what I may miss?
