@Jfischer I married a Savannah boy. lol I turned his colors from black and gold to Irish green. But still a northender! Thanks for the welcome!
@ dunnnc Trenton is a good area too! My son graduated high school last year and know of several kids that are going to college there.
@old car we were just at Wallace over Mother's Day. Definately one of my favorite parks. A hidden jewel!!!!
@RvBill3, great to know about the Des Moines location!!! I was a little hesitant at first even after researching. I guess the whole thing about giving a large amount money to someone over the internet that I have never seen kinda worries me. Afterall I am from Missouri, a show me girl!!

Welcome to the forum and hello from another Missouri camper. Just got back today from camping at Baxter C.O.E. campground, just down the road from Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Lampe, MO. They had a big country concert with Gary Allen headlining the show, and most the campground was attending. We were one of the few not going, just fishing on the lake(Table Rock Lake). Had a great time and fishing was awesome(no keepers, but caught alot just under the limit). We are going back Memorial Day weekend to an awesome campground just a few miles down the road called Mill Creek for the second time this year. We'll bring the pontoon boat with us this time for alittle pleasure & fishing on Table Rock. Here's a few pics of our campsite.

@johnandpandra Nice sites! The only COE campground we have stayed in is Smithville. Never have been impressed with that one, but have been thinking about making a trip to the northeast part of the state and staying in some around the Hannibel area. Definately going to have to put Baxter on the list.

Another Missourian speaks.......Don't forget about the state parks along I-44. And if it is floating you want........ Ozarks Riverways are the best....... Happy Camping!!

Love the COE campgrounds around Branson and up by Truman Lake and Pomme de Terre

Danny my father-in-law has stayed at Indian Creek several times. He has always said good things about it. Now I just need to get some time to go!
