We camp mid April to December in ours since 2014. Never been an issue. Had many a bellow freezing day with snow and survived just fine. If you are really concerned have the dealer put on tank heaters (we do not) and use a heated hose(we do when really cold ).

My camper has the "cold weather package". It a thin piece of corrugated plastic to enclose the underbelly. I saw my unit being built at the factor. Zero insulation in the frame beams where the tanks are. The only insulation is in the floor. I dont really think a thin layer of plastic is going to help that much as long as temps dont drop well below freezing.

Ho from Western Maryland

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your new RV. I also started in a used 76 Coleman, a new 85 Coleman Sequoia, a 1996 Trail Manor folding Trailer and we are waiting on our 2017 Apex 249rbs. We probably have a month wait yet. Hope you enjoy your new unit.
