Moving from a pop-up to a Grey Wolf 26DBH

Hello from Georgia.

We bought a used 2004 popup to get us off the ground. We knew we were only keeping it for a couple years. The good thing was it's value wouldn't go down much, so we could get our money back to use on a trailer. Well, we've taken the plunge and are waiting on delivery of the 2017 Grey Wolf 26DBH. We were hoping to pick it up last weekend, but it's running late. We have our first, near home, camp out reserved for this weekend. Can't wait to take it out on it's maiden voyage.

We're looking forward to a trip this summer to Yellowstone.

congrats - we moved from a pop up to our 28' greywolf.

Only surprise was camping didn't feel as, well , 'outdoorsy' - which can be very good this time of year!

Enjoy

I'm looking forward to the space. 5 in a pop-up get's cramp, especially when two of the kids are older teens. Now if it rains, we won't be on top of each other.

We did exactly that. EXACTLY. Same thing.

Loved the Grey Wolf.

BUT......start saving now. Save a LOT. Trust me on this!

Congratulations!!!! Yes the waiting part sucks!!! (3 weeks more of waiting for us) But oh the memories you make! Since you have teens, just an FYI, to make it more fun for them, we would have contests. Like fire building (couldn't use matches), log rolling/walking, as well as the usual Corn Hole, Ladder Golf and horse shoes. Oh and their favorite dessert was Campfire eclairs (you can find it on pintrest) My boys are grown now and can't wait til they have kids and we make memories with the grand kids.

Hey I know this is a older thread but me and my wife are about to buy a 2017 grey wolf 26dbh limited. Anybody have long term updates or any other opinions about it? I am a little concern about it not having a "thermal" or "arctic" package on it, we don't ever plan on winter camping but like the idea of maybe being able to extend the season a week or 2 up here in Alberta Canada.

Thanks!
