Moving from Popup to Hybrid

Hello!
We currently have a 1999 Coleman Westlake popup. We love it and we love to camp. However, we have decided to make the move from the popup to a hybrid. Right now we are leaning toward the Shamrock 23SS. But, we are still early in our research. We are hoping to make our decision and have our new camper around March. Still trying to understand the distinction between the Shamrock and Roo.

I am new to hybrids and I am an information junkie so please chime in with any information or advice you think may be helpful to me.

I love this forum. Thanks for all the great information out there.

Some have had issues in the past with the doors sealing closed when closed up. Leaks causing wet wood and assorted issues.

Welcome! The Roo and the Shamrock are identical other than the exterior graphics and interior décor. Hence the Roo and Shamrock are combined as one brand in the hybrid section of this forum. So not to (re)hijack this thread, we ought to take this topic to new thread in that section. You'll probably get more input from other Roo/Shamrock owners if you post away on that thread.

You don't say how many you sleep in the PUP or will be sleeping in the Roo/Shamrock. Take a look at how many beds you will need and then look at the floorplans available. 21SS & 233SS have the deepest slides which really open up the interior of the trailer. 23SS has a lot of interior storage compartments and the most counter space around the sink & stove top. 23IKS has 2 slides & a lot of storage compartments as well as an island sink. Any of the these models are some of the best selling floorplans in the line.
