NC Newbee

Well, we are leaving the tent and hotels behind. Just purchased a Wildcat 27BHWB and getting to know her. Running a 30amp circuit in the garage so I can plug her in and play with the systems. Looking forward to getting out on the road and visiting with others.

WELCOME to the forums and congrats on the new unit .

just for safety sake you know that 30 amp plug is 110 not 220 right ?

ITS a common mistake to wire it like a dryer "220"

It happens more than ya think !

No problem!
Didn't want to see your post heading
"I plugged my camper into my new outlet and boom!"

I would venture a guess you bought from Tom Johnson. We just traded for a Flagstaff 8528RKWS from them in Concord. Where do you camp?

dunnnc: Although I know Tom, we bought from an individual out of Hiddenite. He wanted a Harley more than his RV. Cashed him out at about 1/2 the going price of our rig. Good day. We are headed to Atlanta this weekend to (hopefully) do the same thing with an F350 dually. He just got out of camping and wants it gone. We haven't been out yet, so all our "camping" has been in the driveway. LOL We are trying to understand the unit before we make fools of ourselves in front of all the experts when we do go out camping.
