New 2005 Rockwood 1950 owner from Elk Grove, CA

Hi all.

We like to tent camp but after my wife experienced sleeping one cold night in her brothers PUP she was hooked. So this camping season we started looking. I just picked up a hardly used 2005 1950. It's in really good shape and has hardly any signs of wear. It even smells new.

I do want to upgrade the battery from a group 24 to a group 27 but there doesnt seem to be enough room on the front of the trailer. it hangs over the edge about 4 inches. would it be safe to leave the battery box like that or will it screw up the balance
