New 2013 Roo 23SS owner from Massachusetts

We have finally upgraded from our 2001 Coleman Sun Valley pop-up to a 2013 Rockwood Roo 23SS. The pop-up has served our family of 4 well over the last 11 years but the time has come to enjoy some finer things in life.
We have camped all over the White Mountains of New Hampshire and love the area. We've been dicussing heading to Cape Cod and Pennsylvania so we'll see where the new Roo adventures will take us.
This forum will be extremely benificial to me whereas I will always try to repair something first myself and also learn some tips and tricks along the way.

Congrats on the new Roo. We upgraded from our 2000 Coleman to a 2013 IKSS. We've also been getting in as many trips as we can and loving the full kitchen and bathroom (and no more cranking). Even though we had great times with the popup, the more we camp with the Roo, the happier we are with the new TT.

If you are planning some stops in the Northeast, might want to consider the Adirondacks. We spend at least one week their every year. With 50+ state parks we always are finding new spots to check out (no hookups in any of them however) and there are a few private CG's that are very nice and offer full hookups. The Finger Lakes and Thousand Islands have some great options too.

We are off to Hershey next week. Already planning for Maine next summer. Enjoy the summer while it lasts. And I think you'll find this forum very helpful. I have fixed or avoided several issues with tips I picked up here.

Kevin

We did walk through a 23IKSS and couldn't believe it had a center island for the sink. Very nice. We cant wait to use the new trailer. I am extremly familiar with the coast of Maine all the way up to the Canadian border whereas my folks run a B&B on Rte 1 in Machias. Let me know if you would like any info regarding costal Rte 1 in Maine.

Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!!!

and the exclusive 23SS Owner's Club!

lots of 23SS owners here and on other Hybrid forums.
the 23SS has been a very copied floorplan, due to its popularity. only the newer 233S has been a better selling floorplan for FR.

we've had ours for nearly 7 years now and we still love it.
