New 30WLA owner

Just wanted to drop in and say hi. We just got a new '15 Work and Play 30WLA to haul 2 atv's and a Harley around. We've only had it a week and will finally get moved in and set up this week.

We had a less than ideal buying experience with the local dealer. The delivery consisted of all of the paperwork and we'll tell you where the trailer is..see ya later. No explanation of how things work, they didn't even wash it, or fix the gas tube mount on the door I pointed out the week before. So i'm sure I'll have some questions as I fumble my way through it trying to figure out how stuff works.

I'm towing with a '15 Ford F-250 crew cab 4x4 diesel with a Reese Strait Line WD hitch (17k/1700 tw due to the high tongue weight of the TT) with the Dual Cam sway control. I think that hitch could tow the space shuttle, talk about heavy duty..... and heavy!!

If all goes as planned, the maiden voyage will be next weekend for some atv riding.

Welcome to the world of RVing! Sorry to hear about the dealer being less than helpful. They should had done a PDI to everything was OK but it doesn't sound like they put much effort into it, if at all. Most of us were given a walk-through where we are shown how to work the systems before taking our campers home.

This is a great site for information so between researching and asking questions you should be in good hands.

Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

So much for paying extra for the privilege of having the services of a local dealer!😠
