New 340 RK

We just ordered a Columbus 340RK! We had a bumper pull before. We have a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 long bed dually. Any ideas regarding hitches? We want to be able to use the bed when not traveling.

B&W makes a hitch that can be lifted out of the truck bed, leaving it flat. Google "B&W hitches".
Good luck with your Columbus, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I went with the B&W companion hitch because I didn't won't the rails mounted in the bed. I found one on Craig list. The shock absorber was broke on the fifth wheel part, so I called the factory to order a new one. They ask me for my serial number they sent me one for free. You can't beat that for customer service especially since I am the second owner. I am sold on B&W products.

B&W Companion hitch for sure. Tows like a dream and requires no tools to remove from the truck leaving a completely flat bed. Plus to top it off you can drop in a goose neck ball as well, making it even more versatile.

Congrats on the camper! Its always exciting getting a new toy!
I use the B&W companion also and love it, takes about 5 minutes to tork the bolts down and install, but it is nice not having rails and tons of holes in the bed.
- the 5th wheel top plate comes loose from the lower with a couple of pins and makes it easier and lighter for removal out of the bed.

Must be a little hard not knowing if you will get it this year or next year.
