New 5th Wheel Owners

Hello,
We recently purchased our 1st Fifth Wheel camper, 2012 Coachmen Chaparral 325MKS. We "paid our dues" by starting in a tent, evolving to a pop-up and up until 2 weeks ago, we had a TT. Our first trip is next week, which will be a short weekend close to home (to work out any kinks) and then we're off to Myrtle Beach for a week in June. I am very excited to have found these forums and look forward to all of the knowledge we will gain here.

kudos on your new unit. My wife and I also bought our first 5er two weeks ago. We noticed a big difference in towing just bringing it home from the dealer. We bought a Sabre silhouette 290refd. happy camping

Now that's kinda cool, cause that's EXACTLY! how we did it.We have our current fiver(which is also our first) for less than a year now,and roughly 5k miles on her with no issues other than the dumbstuff we ourselves have done to it.It's a different beast but like anything else once you get use to it,you'll wonder why it took you so long to get one.Enjoy your new rig.
