New around here.

I just wanted to introduce myself, I am new to forest river, but have been camping for the last 8 years. I used to own a 2007 jayco jayflight 31bhds. I upgraded to a sandpiper 30iok. I just recently got the sandpiper and so far we love it. There were some easy fixes to minor problems, however there is one fix I can't figure out the hand crank that came with the camper won't fit onto the fitting so I can manually raise or lower the front hydraulic legs.I am wondering if they forgot to add a hole next to the propane door. Has anyone else experienced this?

Welcome and congrats on your Sandpiper. That hand crank could be for the slides to manually crank them in.

Welcome to the forums! Sorry but I have a different unit so I'm not able to answer your questions but I did want to say hello while you wait for others to drop in.

Good luck!

Are you sure the landing gear is hydraulic and not electric.

When we did our walk through they said it was hydraulic, and I did notice a pump with a fluid reservoir, and the tech told me they put the wrong crank in it but they didn't have the correct crank on hand. It's not the end of the world, I just have to figure out how to make it work if it ever stops working.
