New camper

Hello,

We just purchased our first camper at the Pittsburgh RV show. We purchased a 2013 FR Wildwood 26TBSS, we were drawn to it because of the triple bunk. I look forward to hearing from others about tips and tricks to help us with the up camping season.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on the new camper!
There are lots of great people here and tons of great advice!
You'll meet a variety of people here and all are willing to help.
1 suggestion I would make it would be to drive way camp your first time.
that will help you familiarize yourself with your new camper.

Good luck and have fun!

Yes just get a 30 to 15 amp adapter.
Try not to use long ext cords .

Although its not recommended to run the a/c I have done it via 30/15 amp adapter.
NO EXT CORD!

Your camper will also need to remain plugged in when not in use OR a battery disconnect must be installed if it already doesn't have one.
There's several parasitic draws even when camper is not in use that will run the battery dead in a few days.

I didn't know that. I'm not worried about using the A/C this weekend. It's only 10 degrees in Pittsburgh currently lol. The battery disconnect? Couldn't I just disconnect the battery myself?
