New Camper to me.

I was really glad to see this forum. I think these are very helpful to people who share the same interests. I recently purchased a 2005 Rockwood Forest River to replace my old Fleetwood Prowler. I primarily use my camper for fishing trips at lakes. This was only our 2nd time with the new camper out and I love it's comfort. We do have a few problems like mice and my black water not draining completely but I'm sure once we get those issues resolved this will be a great camper.

Hi and welcome to the forums! Hopefully you can get the black tank and mice issues taken care of soon.

Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

Welcome to the FRF, try putting some Bonus laundry sheets around in the unit to getr rid of the mice. I have sheet in about every cabinet and drawer in my Solera and haven't had any problems with the little devils so far. Don't know what to tell you on the black tank how much of the bad stuff doesn't drain out?

Welcom, I am fairly new as well but I'ld like to maybe help. My sister had a TT where they cut the 3inch hole in the black tank and let the 3 inch plug fall into the tank and left it, could be the problem. Another thing that I do when I want to do a great clean out is, I tilt the trailer so tanks drain better.
As for mice go under the camper with a can of sray foam and foam any open holes also trim any trees/shrubs that touch the camper.
Good luck and tell us how things work out.
