New Colorado member

Greetings all, new member here from South Central Colorado. I just purchased a used FR XLR Viper 37' fifth wheel and pulling it with a 2016 Ram 2500 CD. I look forward to taking in all the great experience and knowledge on this forum.

A bit about us, this is the second fiver that we, my wife and I, have owned and have had a number of bumper pull camper trailers as well. I used to drive OTR as well as local hauling with flatbeds, vans, reefers, doubles, tankers, and oversized equipment so pulling a fifth wheel is familiar.
I have since retired from driving big trucks and now do solar PV for a living. Yes, the first major upgrade to our new used fiver will be a 450-500w PV system with charge controller and dual 210ah AGM batteries and a 3500w PSW inverter.
We love being able to boondock and have most of the comforts of home without having to fire up a noisy generator!

Dennis

Welcome from your Kansas neighbor. Spent a lot of summers in Colorado. Buena Vista, Crested Butte, Gunnison, Marble, Durango, etc.

Welcome from just up the road! My friends and I waste a lot of time on the Sangre' De Cristos just east of Villa Grove!
