New Forest River Owner

Glad to meet you! I just upgraded my 18 foot Roadmaster Predator Toyhauler to a Work & Play 38RLS! We use it on the KCBS BBQ Competition Circuit all over the South. We average 18 contest per year plus a few other special events. The "garage" allows us to keep the food prep isolated from the living quarters & allowing for easy clean up! I have installed a modified 6ft. kitchen cabinet/countertop in the BBQ Garage to assist with prepping & storage. We had our first contest in the new rig this past weekend. Worked perfectly. Looking forward to learning from & hearing about others experiences with W&P TH! Thanks!

Welcome and glad to have you here.

Your rig sounds interesting; especially with the BBQ garage. Any pics you can post?

Pics

As requested here are some pics of the "BBQ Garage". I added a raised 6 ft. cabinet/countertop. After we remove the smokers we use the cabinet & a stainless steel table on rollers for prepping. We also have 2 "Cambros" (insulated storage boxes) to keep food hot or cold.

We are more passionate than serious! We do 18-20 contests a year mainly in TN, KY, AL, area. Like RV'ers BBQ'ers are a great bunch of peeps. It a fun group to be a part of.

Nice setup. I really like what you've done. Some friends of ours do these contests and I've seen a few (not sure what circuit though). Great fun.
