Hi, thank you for letting me join this forum. I just inherited a 1999 Rockwood Roo hybrid 21ft trailer. I know nothing about travel trailers and wanted to know if someone could direct me where to find the owners manual. I need to find out how to use everything in this trailer before I take it out to camp. Thank you

Congrat's on your new2u TT. As for finding a owners manual for your '99 Roo, I'm afraid I can't be of much help. They are pretty generic any way. This is a link to FR's general RV owners manual. I hope this of some help.
Happy RVing!

Yea, what hdmtnrider said. Manuals don't seem to be specific for each trailer. They try & cover all bases with just a few. Here is a link to the Forest River interactive manuals

Forest River RV Online Owners Manuals

They begin in 2015 though. So some things will likely be different.

You can call Forest River for a manual. I tried that. $10+ shipping for a generic manual for the trailer. If you want the whole package ( trailer & things like the A/C, refrigerator, microwave, etc. ) that was $60+shipping. You'll do better pecking around online.

You'll likely get better info just asking questions here on this forum.

Congrats on your new TT. And welcome.

As was said, the original manual was generic, with no model-specific info. I doubt if FR even would still have copies of that old of a hybrid.

It did come with separate manufacturer manuals for the important things (fridge, oven, a/c, converter, awning, WH, water pump and so on.

Your problem will finding anything for a 18 year old hybrid.
By the way 1999 was the first model year of the Roo and Shamrock hybrids.
So they had a number of teething issues, being a totally new type of RV for Forest River and other hybrid manufacturers, such as Jayco and Thor/Dutchmen.

Your best resource will be the Roo/Shamrock sub-forum here.
It's in the Hybrid/Expandable section here.

Thanks all for the owner manuals and tips

Thanks to those who responded to my question about an owner manual. I read through the "general manual". Gave me some insight to the water system, the LP system , hitch connections as well as leveling. It's a lot to learn but I look forward to going RVing sometime soon. First I need to learn how to back up so I can get it into a camping space. Thanks again!

Suggest you look at all of your main appliances (fridge, water heater, furnace, stove, oven, microwave, air conditioner) and get the manufacturer name and model numbers for each. Then you can search the internet for the owners manuals. If you can't find them on the internet, someone on the forum may have access if you provide the manufacturer and model #.

If you can get to a RV show, they have displays that are very helpful. Also lots of owners and sales people to ask about things.
