New FR 3011ds from Washington

I`m not sure if it was the correct thing to do but we will live with it now.
This is our first FR product but we have had RV`s for 40 years anything from pull behind , pickup camper, 5th wheel ,class a motorhome.
We had talked in the past about getting a class C for years ,downsizing from a 1994 35 foot coachmen class a that we bought new in 1993.
We like the floor plan except the bathroom,we got the options we wanted. It did take a long time to get here March 30 till July 2 , now it just spent 30 days at the dealership service dept. and not all the repairs it needed got done,I did get lots of excusses , and that letter that came from FR about letting them know if it is in for more than 5 busness days, that went with no responce , so I did some of the repairs myself .
I did like the way I was treated by Brian C. the Fr factory rep for the NW. He answered and kept me informed about things.(He isn`t there anymore,to bad). The local Dealer (only 1 in 200 miles) well like I told them after some of thier BS ,I like the RV.
We will see what happens in the future.
I`m one of those Ford guys , (3 in my yard ) like i read in another thread.

Howdy Howard from exit 88 on I-5 Rochester WA, as you see
in the signature we have a 2006 Coachmen, like you nearest
Coachmen dealer is a number of miles away even if were go
into Oregon. Of course our warranty except the roof was up
years ago with the 1st owner, but I had some questions on
our roof so I called Coachmen, they said that they would
have repaired the roof if it was still in tack but since some-
one had did some repairs that were not documented they
could not stand behind putting on a new roof.

I still like our Coachmen and would buy another in a heart
beat, but like others I still would buy used do to price an
let the 1st owner get all the bug worked out

Happy Camping, hope to see you down the road

We liked our Coachmen 350 FL most of the time ,we didn`t like driving it in strong wind , got white knuckles and sore arms a few times .
We sold it to some friends, but the first time they went camping in it ,just east of Packwood on White Pass it cought fire and did $14,000 damage under the hood ,everything plastic and wiring all crispy. They didn`t get hurt except for feelings . Insurance paid good so they didn`t loose financially.
Hey they are still friends.
