New from Maryland

I'm learning a lot reading the forums. Currently own a Fleetwood Avalon Popup since 2008. Plan on buying either a fifth wheel Wildcat Sterling 32RL or the Palomino Columbus 295. Both rigs look great. Have a 2011 Ford F350 diesel to pull, plan on being a new owner in a few months. Thoughts and opinions on both rigs are always welcomed. Plan on retiring in two years, so looking forward to the RV life.

Welcome to the forums! I'm sure others will drop in and offer some feedback but I wanted to say hello.

Welcome.

Are you sure you have enough truck for that Avalon? Hope you've been using a WD hitch and sway control!

Sounds like you are ready for that 5'ver. I have a Columbus on order and can't wait till it get's here. I think their floor plans are innovative and the units give you alot of features for the money. If you are going to full-time, then floor plan is everything, so choose wisely. Quality seems to be all over the place on all brands of RV's these days, so best advice is to carefully weigh floorplan, features and specs to see what works for you.
