New from MI

Bill from northern MI here.

We are giving up the tent and plan on moving up to a travel trailer next spring. My wife has fallen in love with the Rockwood 1905 we looked at last week and I'm ready to trade in the car for an F150 soon. I'd love to find a used 1905 but these are hard to find. Local dealer has a new one for $15,500 and looks small enough for some boondock style camping in tight national/state forest campgrounds that we are blessed to have here in MI.

Anyway, I've been doing research here on TT's and what it takes to pull them. Real nice people here and tons of knowledge and experience.

We're just up the road from Wolverine in Indian River. Were you camped at Weber Lake? Nice little campground and surrounding state land there.

Welcome. That 1905 will be a nice step up from the tent. No more rocks under your back while you're sleeping.

Welcome fellow Michigander! This Forum is the very best place to start when having questions. Plenty of useful help from fellow RV'ers.

to the forum from the U.P. of Michigan.

Come up and visit the Yoopers. We allow Trolls to come north across the

bridge.

Thanks for the invitation! Feel free to visit us BTB (below the bridge) if you want some civilization.

Seriously want to visit Porcupine Mountains; it's been years since we've been there.
